KY's comments....

hello guys,
first of all i would like to say we improved from the previous disaster. Some things i wanna point out.

1) selfless - sacrifices are made. some of us played out of positions so others can thrive. Special thanks to your selfless act, guys!
2) no direction - as discussed at dinner, we didnt really have a strategy towards the game. Simply when we have the ball at our feet, we do not know wat to do.
3) Our strikers do not have enough services - most of the thru-balls we made are either offside or too far away from the strikers. i apologise for that also, part of my fault. Wat i suggest is we can try to move more to the flanks to thread the pass easier.

4) when we sub another player in, remember to tell him which position he is taking over, so he wont be blur. haha! ( not referring to anybody )
5) i think the referee cheat our money. 2nd half where got so short. cb! by the time lao er roars us to push forward, the match end liao. wtf.

there are some things we shd discuss beforehand and during the game, which are very important, i feel. Like penalty-kick takers, throw-in takers, freekick takers, left or right ,etc. So the moment we get a throw-in, the other players can move into position asap.
And during the game we can decide from where we can penetrate the defence, depending on where we think is their weaker side.
Once this is sorted out, i think we will become more stable, at least.

Another thing to note is that the last man who oversees the game from the back- our captain - its good you can give more orders to our defence and midfield also, because i also quite seh liao cannot notice some places also. if possible we can form partnerships like left mid with leftback, or the centre midfielders as a group - we communicate more in the sense that we let our partners know our intentions so he can do the necessary cover-up.
e.g. i know peow is doing fine in the attacking part so i drop back to cover defence.
e.g. (right side) when ivan attacks with the ball, someone is there to cover up the whole.

In my opinion our last man shd never be marking anyone when the opp. strikers are lurking ard becos he must be there to see everything and shout instructions. In any point of the time, a midfielder can drop back to cover defensive duties so the last man can be free.

overall, i must praise you guys, we did well!. Just a little more of adjustment we will be raring to go!
kudos for the effort made - the organiser and the rest who sweat their asses away in the game.
And angeline who took care of my poor little BEBE! =)

any other things to add, guys?

The aftermath FFU 0 - 2 Anwar FC

Kk. First things first, I think those without shin guard should go and purchase one if we're really keen on play field soccer.
Next, I think the performance today was much better then the previous game, at least we played as a team and lost as one. Which I feel is much more to being unfortunate rather then losing on the technical side. High ball is always a problem with us, period.
I decided to reshuffle the second half defence as I feel the midfield is not really passing much crucial ball, hence I went up to join the midfield. My bad on this part as the defence was totally in shambles. Think for future game I'll just stick to being in the heart of the defence.
And I think Kah Yong should call the shots in midfield, i.e. midfielders will have to listen to him in the field, he's the BOSS in midfield.
Anyway it's just a game, hope all had fun! Any more pointers to add please feel free to post them up. Cheers!

Your beloved Captain

Sunday Lineup

Substitutes
1. Boon Siong
2. Uncle Danny
3. Xuan Wei

There's gonna be lotsa changes as it's going to be a very hot afternoon and we have limited subs on our hand. I hope there'll be no cramps in this match as such. Cheers!
Seng suggest we go ahead with the asics jersey, so those without that wear a white top.
