some words of wisdom in response to the latest post.
1. No player is bigger than the team itself. Like it or not, there isnt much of a choice that day considering the limited turnout. Everyone would hve loved to play in their favourite positions; but in situations like this, i believe everyone will want to help the team in every possible way. Just look at how Gerrard has been employed for both club and country. There should be no complaints about it on any part.
2. Attitude. Totally agree with Ant's view. No matter how badly the team was playing. No one should just walk out on the team like that. Esp. when the team is already depleted and lacking match fitness. It is a complete letdown with such actions.
3. Arrogance. What arrogance is there? Put it simply, our team lacks match-fitness. Period. There is really notin much more than that. Nothing is wrong with the attitude. Just got to play more on field and get used to playing on grass that's all.
Let's put an end to this blame game. This matter is blowing out of proportion.
Let's just start playing more matches. That should do the trick .
Tomy go organize it. We'll play and learn along the way.
