So the Taiwan trip was a failure due to bad response.

Everyone needs a break, so lets make this trip happen this time round. Rumors have said that alot of you guys are dying to go Bali! so Bali it shall be, with its diverse tourist attractions, wide range of water sports, cheap spa and beauty treatments, i am pretty sure it caters well to everyone. After-dark activities and not to forget getting your fix of cannibis and unicorns :)

Currently looking at late june from the REPLIES i have received. We will try but we cannot cater to everyone preference. Looking at the best fares and hopefully 5days+- over the weekends.

What jetstar is able to offer us is a return trip all in at $160+/pax for now, but prices are due to go up in time.

I will be summing up the interested parties hopefully by the CNY dinner. so lets give this a thought and plan ahead.

All bachelor trip unfortunately.

Anyway you wouldnt want to bring your spouse, for i have heard of some taboo stories with couples in Bali. Just promise to bring back some souvenirs.

Everyone will take turns to organize and book cage on Sunday.
First to kick off this project will be our beloved captain, YWS.

Organizer will need to find out whether there will be sufficient players and make the call to Kallang Cage 6344 9345 to make the necessary booking.

Creepiest lift ride!!

although i always gong jiao wei but this is a true event!

after a tiring day out from studying i return home and arrived at the lift lobby. upon my arrival the lift door suddenly opens itself. hence i said thank you. (learn from who ever who taught me this)

normally during lift ride the lift will move up and down before it arrive at its designated floor but today it was different. it suddenly jerk up and down very quickly unlike normal days and the lift got jammed! immediately i tried to call zhenghui cause we got off kahyong's car not long ago but there was no signal. hence frantically i tried to press the 11th floor and the open buttons. amidst all this i felt something knock on my bag once! very nice! after bout 2-3mins the lift suddenly resume operation.
just before it opens i was still very scare that i'll be teleported in another dimension ala ying yang lu! luckily it open itself at 6th floor BUT about 4inches off the ground. and all this happens arnd 4am in the morning. fuck!

lesson learnt: do not say thank you whenever the lift door opens itself automatically in the middle of the night; and do not go into the lift after it opens itself automatically.. .

Christmas 2008 - continued

Hey guys, so heres the time for money collection. I know you hate it, we all hate it. But to make things fast and simple. You can it transfer to me, would much appreciate that then holding on till the actual day itself. I'll need to collect 20bucks from everyone thats coming for dinner.

I hope we can welcome everyone with a doorgift. Drinks will be served as earlybirds mingle among themselves, dinner shall start around 7.45pm. Get ready to be greeted by a wide spread of 'liao' from bah-ee to 红白, catered for all individuals. We will most probably need to take turns for dinner but still, dont come too late.

Following that we will play some games, drink some poison, pile whoever. And not to forget like last year, our gift exchange session!

I know results are out for the SIM folks. Congrats to those who did well and work harder for those that didn't. Although I do not have the chance to talk to everyone, I heard some were pretty down after knowing their results. Well I won't be consoling those who did not do so well but I have got something to share.

Have you been running hard enough?

I know that for many, taking their current courses in SIM wasn't what they really want. There's no interest and no understanding of the industry. Paper chasing is an option with no choice. But now since you are already inside it, then you have to run, whether you are a gazelle or a lion.

Look around, see what the brightest mind around you are doing. Have a clear goal of what you want to do in the future. It can be living on paycheck to paycheck the next 30-40 years on a job you absolutely hate or do something you are interested in, either profit or non-profit, you decide.

Stop living in your comfort zone. Get out and see more things, work hard and strive for the best. Run hard.
